I came down with C. Difficile after my knee replacement surgery.

I seem to be over it for now. Although my stomach doesn’t feel quite right. I have been told by my surgeon that from now on when I go to the dentist I must get an antibiotic. I am worried about opening the door to C. Difficile if I take another antibiotic. Any new research on this subject?
