Want to discuss prolapse bladder or any kind of prolapse
I am looking to discuss prolapse bladder or any kind of prolapse that other ladies have experienced as well. I would also like to comment on incontinence as well. There is a lot to talk about when it comes to prolapse bladder etc and it seems to be a silent epidemic among women. If there are others out there like me, lets talk about it and I have some solutions. I am surviving prolapse bladder without surgery and I have been living with it for over ten years. I wear a support garment that is light and easy weight and fits right under my existing underwear. Don't know what you are doing or wearing, but I would like to hear from you. Thanks.

You are going to need a hysterectomy and bladder prolapse repair. Had it 15 years ago. Now cystocele and rectocele again. Need another surgery. Am 72 years old, have rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogren’s Syndrome. Good luck to you.
Yes, I had this done in March of last year at the Mayo in Jacksonville. They did, what the called a purse string attachment.
I have not had a single problem since.
Thank you for your input. I will keep you posted. Louise
Thank you also for your reply. I will keep you posted. Louise
Hi ZeeGee,
How are you feeling now? Did the surgery work for you? And how painful was it the first two weeks after surgery? I’m so terrified but I know I need surgery.
Thank you and I hope you’re feeling top notch! 😊💞🌷
The best of luck to you. Hope it's a success like mine.
Hi Lindes
I have a rectocele and have been seeing Dr C in the Jacksonville Mayo Clinic. She says she can perform surgery in outpatient and indicates this is all she does. Amazing there are so many of us out there. I read that you had it done last March and are doing fine. Can you please give me any tips on how you could poo without straining post op? This is what terrifies me the most. Thanks so much.
I had a LeFort colpocleisis surgery in May and my "bedtime" cocktail, which has been foolproof ever since, is colace 250mg and a 1oz dose of Mira Lax. I take them at 10pm, sleep well, then get up 7 hrs later and the poop just falls out. Not liquid, not uncontrollable, just soft like ripe banana with zero pushing! If I ever need to hasten the process, I hold my breath, which gently increases the intra-abdominal pressure and that's that. Zero pushing, and I'm going on almost 6 months post op. I recommend the duo. Good luck 🤞!
Hi Sharnie,
I’m 8 months post hysterectomy
I have vaginal vault prolapse, bladder prolapse and rectal prolapse
Stage 2
Everything feels like it wants to fall out.
I’m considering colopleisis
I’m happy to hear that it was successful for you
I am terrified right now
Hello Lindes
Did you have the colopleisis done?
Did you have a long wait for an appointment at Jacksonville?
