I am a musician with single sided deafness. I now cant sing.
I want to get back into entertaining again but my one good ear boomsin my head and stops me from simging. Its ok when lying down. My doctor has has managed to get me into geting a CT scan of my good ear. Is this a good start

Has this deafness just come on? If so, imaging is a good way to start working on your diagnosis. Occasionally, a small tumor can cause these things. Imaging can pick this up.
Please note there is a condition called SHL (sudden hearing loss) which mostly affects young adults (21-40 years of age). The explanation is that it is likely a virus that causes permanent nerve damage. It happened to me at age 22.
