Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos and fusion c5-7

Hello, I recently found out I have small fiber neuropathy, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos and we are still trying to figure out what is going on with my stomach.

I will be having surgery on my neck, fusing C5-7. I am wondering what type of care will be needed. Do I set up an in-home Nurse now?

I had a C5-C7 fusion years ago and the only precaution was to relax and take it easy for the first couple of weeks. Other than that, life was pretty much normal.
