Hyperhidrosis in my hands and feet

I have hyperhidrosis in my hands and feet, and it has become a real challenge in daily life. Since I work in IT, using a keyboard or touch screen for long hours is very difficult when my hands keep sweating. I have tried simple things like powders and wipes, but they only help a little.

You may get some relief from consulting with a dermatologist who cares for patients with hyperhidrosis. Topical aluminum chloride and oral medications are available. You may have testing for metabolic problems if it is a new development. Hopefully other patients will offer supportive ideas.

Have you seen a specialist for hyperhidrosis? Have you taken the sweat test?
