How to prevent nosebleed at home?

Posted by aliali @aliali, May 20, 2019

"I experience nosebleed very often. The gel I use (Vibrocil gel) is out of stock. Alternative gels are causing me allergies ( or tough side effects in general) and thus I cannot use the. I am seeking home remedy to PREVENT nosebleed; yes, to prevent not to stop! I mean to avoid the occurrence of the bleeding before it happen. On Google, I found home remedies to stop rather than to prevent which is something I am not seeking! So what should I do? Will homemade remedies help?"

Yes. This way helps to STOP the bleeding. I actually try to get a way that PREVENTS THE BEGINNING OF BLEEDING, exactly like the gel (which is out of stock) would do.

Here are a few resources that include tips for preventing nosebleeds.

- NHS https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/ears-nose-and-throat/nosebleed (Scroll to the bottom)

@aliali do you know what the cause of your nosebleeds is? Is your house dry or do you live in a dry climate? Do you take blood thinners?

@aliali I had nosebleeds for a long time. Didn’t matter where I was. Awful. My doctor told me to use saline nasal spray a couple of times a day. It’s made a big difference! She said it comes from a dry environment. Maybe your house needs s humidifier. Try it. Saline nasal spray. Sure hope things get better!
