How to grow height after 25

Posted by aviraljain1997 @aviraljain1997, Jun 25, 2023

Hi
I am too small right now. Only 5'4"
I want to grow my height beyond this. My father and mother are are also of 5'4"
But I lack behind many things due to this short height. Please help me.
I am 25 now and I don't know anything that can help me grow my height more.
I don't have any deficiency in my body and regular check-ups has been performed at different clinics.

Hi @aviraljain1997, Welcome to Connect. This is probably not the answer you want to hear but I'm not sure that it's possible to grow taller after age 25. At least according to this article.

"Can exercise increase height after 25?
An adult cannot increase their height after the growth plates close. However, there are plenty of ways a person can improve their posture to look taller."

Have you tried any exercises or worked on your posture to see if that helps?

OK! I am 70 years old. I injured my knees several times over the years. Once in a car accident and a few times climbing Mt Washington in New Hampshire. From the time I was 18 thru my 50s I stood 5 feet 6 inches tall. Then, about 10 years ago, I began to lose the cartilage in both knees. I began to shrink. I am now 5 feet 5 inches.

As far as I know, there is no safe method of me recovering that lost inch. Not thru bone grafts or thru medication. I think that any medical solution would need to occur while a person is still a teen-ager.
(The super-soldier treatment that transformed Steve Rogers into Captain America is, sad to say, a fantasy.)

Maybe perspective would help: I would love to be as tall as 5'4". I understand where you are coming from, being taller has advantages. Work with what you've got.

I am guessing you are a male and worried about appealing to the opposite sex. Develop your sense of humor, women love men who make them laugh and will “look past” your height,
