How to get off of Clonazepam Safely?
I’ve been taking Clonazepam for severe anxiety for 2.5 months and it’s no longer working as well as before. I take no more than 0.5 mg twice daily. Have taken 0.25 mg for about a month. My anxiety symptoms seem to be getting worse and I don’t want to increase dosage. I just want out.
Anyone with helpful suggestions to wean off safely without debilitating withdrawal symptoms, I’d really appreciate hearing from you. The problem with this drug is the pills are tiny so doing the 5-10% reduction is impractical. I’m currently also taking Effexor.

It’s going to benefit you that you haven’t been taking them for a long time, also your dosage is very low, it’s very positive that you’re in touch with your body and knowing that these drugs are very addictive. I have been taking them for many years and I don’t want to get off them, in your case you can find very viable options for withdrawing from them and not suffer awful side effects. I think you can talk with your doctor about your concerns and see what comes up, honestly no one should have to suffer with all the available information, best wishes.
