@vellen what a great idea it’s an all natural and has healing properties never thought about honey 🍯
jlf2,
I have used MEDIHONEY. I use it mostly to take dead skin off. Thank you, Jeff.
I had heard a lot about honey with my grandfather having been a beekeeper in Minnesota many moons ago but I wasn't aware of the healing effects until my friend tried it. I sometines wonder what other natural remedies are available.
On that note, time for a bit of research!
Vellen,
I have used nettles for injured arm, shoulder and knees. We call it itch weed here in Iowa. Found out about it by accident. My right arm was messed up. I to go through a bad batch of itch weed. After I went through it, I noticed that my body had the burning itch . Everywhere but where my arm was hurt. That part felt numb with a little tingle. I did like 3 days in a row and my arm was pretty good. Then I tried on other things. And seemed to work. I haven't had anybody else want to do it.
Interesting, I'd never heard of nettles.
You can look up stinging nettles and itch weed. I guess they are 2 different kinds of nettles. But both nettles. Most normal people try to avoid them.
It is zinc oxide. Zinc is one of the beast creams for healing!
I did actually look them up. As a city girl, I thought nettles were pine needles ha. And now living in the country (wesrrn Colorado), I'm not one to wander in the wilderness. My son though as a boy in Alabama (lived there a year) picked up a stick and promptly dropped it. The stick left tiny thin thorns in his hand. Between that and the humidity with my fibro, I decided the South wasn't for sissies. I digress.
