How long should I wait between doses with Gabapentin 300mg 2x a day?
I just got prescribed Gabapentin 300mg. I was told by my psychiatrist to take 2 a day for the first week, but it seems like you should take it every 6-8 hours so what should I do for my first week? (I would get ahold of my psychiatrist, but it’s too late in the week)

I was taking Gabapentin 300mg 3X's daily (I am now taking Pregablin 150mg), I just take it about every 6hrs, so 6am, noon and 6pm. Just do as the Dr. said and start off 2X daily to get it to the system, which is normal. Most Dr's will tell you to up the dose to 3X a day if you handle it well.

1 Reaction@insanepain I’m supposed to start taking 3 a day once the week is over, but for now I should stick to 2. I just wonder what times would be best before I switch to 3.

Bedtime and lunchtime then bedtime maybe 8 am then around 5 pm should work
