How long does it take for Tymlos side effects to subside?

I’ve been in Tymlos for two months now and have bone pain, dizziness and just overall aches and pains. Does this get better?

Yes it sounds like you could do 4 clicks today. If you have a headache, stay at 4 clicks for a few days unless the headache goes away quickly. If it is short-lived you could keep going up! This is not medical advice but based on my own experience, and approved by my doc.

The headache could be anything the weather or tension but the back ache seems to be caused by the medicine for sure

You are one who needs this medicine badly. You may have side effects (or growing pains) but at -4.7 in spine, side effects are worth it to avoid fractures. That is my view as one with fractures that are permanently painful and disabling. Keep in mind that Tymlos is most effective for a year, according to my doc and reading,

Just as an FYI, Tymlos has a clinical educator network available to all patients. Contact # is 855-730-8591. I called with questions regarding the injection technique and some other questions and talked to a very helpful educator for about 45 minutes. She offered to do a FaceTime or Zoom if I wanted assistance.

Thank you- is moderate activity like slow walking stair climber ? I do that every day now for twenty minutes.

That sounds great. I walk with a weighed vest and do light chores at home.
I have osteoarthritis and AVN in my left hip, which makes it more complicated for me to exercise, but I manage to keep active.
Stairs are good. Just be safe and try to rest a little between activities.
Overexertion can make everything worse.

Yes, it gets better, @rhondat1964
I have found my symptoms less intense and for less hours every day. When I go up a click, they worsen a bit, but eventually begin to fade and become more tolerable.

You are making me feel good bc my Numbers are so severe and this medicine is better for me than other options bc we can customize the dose to our needs. May I ask you to send me a copy of your spreadsheet.

Sure!
I am not sure if we can share contact information here. Tomorrow, I’ll make a blank spreadsheet and try to upload it here. Maybe you can download it from here.
If not, and we can share email addresses, I’ll be happy to send you the sheet via email.
