How long did you stick with Tymlos side effects before it got better?

I’ve only been on Tymlos one week, but the heart rate, nausea, headache/dizziness, dry mouth and fatigue are driving me crazy. I don’t want to give up, but I skipped a dose one day and felt great and it was heaven! Any encouragement out there from folks who stuck with it and it got better?

Pretty low bone density but oddly, only one instance of bone breaks: stress fractures on left foot 5 years ago. Fortunately, at 82, I'm still in pretty good shape with no other broken bones. Last year, I took Tymlos for several months, stopped because of side effects (fatigue, disoriented, balance) but with some small effect on bone density (at last!). Since I've been unusually resistant to other osteoporosis drugs and apparently one can take Tymlos for 18 months over lifetime, my doctor suggesed alternating months and see how that mitigtes side effects. So far, during the first month, same side effects but manageable. Also am being tested for rare adult hypophosphatasia which could explain resistance to osteoporosis drugs.
