Hey everyone

1. How long before URSO works for PBC?
2. What is the best dose?

For me, the Ursodiol worked quickly. I was put on a very high dose to begin with (1000 mg. per day), but your doctor will decide based on your size, weight, liver function blood tests, etc., what is best for you. He had me come back in a couple of months, and my blood tests had dropped into the normal range. He then reduced my dosage to 500 mg. per day, which has been what I have continued to take. I go back to monitor the blood tests every few months. So far so good, but my symptoms have persisted, especially extreme fatigue. Best of luck.

Does that help you for the fatigue? I have never heard of it.

Lunesta is good for fatigue in that it helps to sleep.

Lunesta may be ok if you have trouble with sleep. I have terrible fatigue and need energy. I do not need something to make me sleepy. Thanks
