How does the Vagus Nerve play a part in PASC
I have heard about a clinic has succeeded in reducing the pain of PASC by stimulating the Vagus Nerve and offering other physical treatments. I am speaking of the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, AR.
My 15-year-old granddaughter has had PASC for approximately two years, and the pain management is only mildly helpful. Recently, Abigail’s symptoms have been increasing in severity, and she is at a point now where she has severe muscular-skeletal pain, always at a 7/10 or more, and she is rarely able to sleep as a result of her pain. She suffers from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, which causes her to pass out frequently, Amplified Muscular Pain Syndrome & Fibromyalgia, gastrointestinal symptoms such as frequent vomiting and food intolerance, and extreme fatigue. She also has suffered from unexplained seizures and chest pains.
What does the medical research say about treating POTS or PASC by this method?
I know you are on the cutting edge and may have information.

Thank you
Thank you, John and Marilyn,
As I read the study, I am getting a clearer picture of the role of the Vagus Nerve and her illness. It is also helping me form questions to ask the clinic so we can make a more informed decision.
Best,
