How did treatment with EMD for C-PTSD go? Did it work?

I've recently been diagnosed with C-PTSD, using the UK guidelines for C-PTSD and PTSD. If you have used the EMDR treatment, how did it go? How long was treatment? You reaction to this treatment? Thanks much for your insights and impressions.

I will be following this too. I am very interested in EMDR. It was suggested to me by a Councilor I was seeing.

I was a therapist who used to help clinicians learn how to use EMDR at trainings. It is a very effective tool if used properly by a well trained clinician. On the EMDR website there is a page to use for locating a therapist near you. Make sure that you interview candidates for your treatment:
. experience treating ptsd
.length of time as therapist
.length of time using EMDR
Etc.
Good luck

@gravity3 Thank you very much for your helpful reply. I have checked the EMDR website. Thank you also for suggesting the queries on length of time treating PTSD, using EDMR, and I'll add one, on the frequency of using EMDR. Again, my thanks!
