Hot flashes on woman, what are the causes and remedies

For the past two weeks, I have been experiencing hot flash. I don't know what it is. I was just told that it was the weather condition but within me I know is much more than that. Please I need advise on what to do to curb the situation

Welcome to Mayo Connect, hot flashes are a nuisance and can interfere with normal routine. Due to removal of ovaries, I went thru menopause early and the hot flashes were terrible.

Can you share more information, are you premenopausal or in menopause? Have you considered asking your provider about?
