High Lipase over 400. No Pain. Cancer?

Posted by jdee6 @jdee6, 3 days ago

I went in for a routine checkup where blood was drawn. The nurse called me a week later and her tone was she was giving me a death sentence... telling me my Lipase was high and I had to go to a Gastro doc. My Lipase was 405. I have not had an amylase test done yet. The only symptoms I have are night and day sweats. Vague very mild stomach ache in the mornings, occasionally extreme fatigue and low BP. I already take blood thinners, heart meds to regulate my heart, and BP meds. I also take antidepressants. I have not lost any weight. I do not have a gallbladder and my liver test came back normal. I have an appt. to see a Gastro doc but it's taken me a month to get in. Does the above point to cancer? I am over 60 and female. Thank you in advance.
