Hemorrhoid hell

Posted by user_ch783e933 @user_ch783e933, Nov 19, 2023

I have no idea what to do with this horrible thing. I think it might be internal/external, it came out of nowhere early July and I've been trying to resolve it. I lost over ten pounds changing my diet trying to figure out this stinking fiber thing and then I started to lose hair in October because of the sudden weight loss! And this stupid thing won't GO AWAY. I'm too old for surgery, I've read that people my age DIE after removing these things!! WHAT SHOULD I DO I DON'T KNOW!

Have you had a colonoscopy?
Just asking because I thought that I had a hemorrhoid from hell also.
Turned out to be anal cancer.
I also lost weight, lost hair, lost sleep.
Procedure was easy; results were hard to hear.

I've had four colonoscopies, go terrify someone else, I'm not afraid to die

You have certainly been having an ordeal. Have you seen a doctor for these hemorrhoids? Surgery may be only recommended as a last resort. There are other treatments to ease your discomfort but you must seek medical advice to get them. Please keep us posted.

sorry if i offended you. didn't mean to "terrify" anyone.
just trying help. but since you have done all already no sense giving unwanted advice anyway.
i hope you find relief.

I would recommend going to see a doctor who specializes in hemorrhoid treatment and surgery. I know it’s scary, but I’m learning in life that action is the best, take the first steps toward healing. ❤️‍🩹 best to you and I hope you feel better real soon! God bless! 🙏💐🙏

I’m so very very very sorry for this ordeal that you are going through. My pain started years ago with blood in the toilet and excruciating pain. Went to a proctologist and found out I had two one inch fissures (tears) in my rectum. I didn’t know that a human could live in that much pain. I also had hemorrhoids. What can I say…my life became a laugh a minute. There’s some good meds. I use Anucort 25 mg suppositories and a special ointment created by a doctor here in OK. I completely understand your fear of going to the doctor but I knew things would only get worse not better. Prayers to you. You deserve good health and pain free days.

Don't panic yet. This might not be the end of the world. I had a similar problem, and when I went to a proctologist she told me that it was a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid. That means an internal hemorrhoid had slipped out and is now poking outside. The proctologist wrapped very small rubber bands around it and pushed it back inside me. She had me come back in a couple of weeks and she injected a sclerotic agent into it and that basically was all it took. I don't know how old you are, but I'm 77 and just had a kidney transplant 9 months ago. Good luck with this one and try to not despair. There are lots of terrible things that can happen to us, but this may not be one of them. Don't stop with a PC. Get to a proctologist
