Help getting specialist for SPS

I live in the Baltimore / Washington area. The ONLY specialist who treats this is Dr Scott Newsome at Hopkins
Was referred to him almost 3 years ago, went through to whole, long drawn out- was informed after all this that Dr Newsome only sees people who have a GAD result in the thousands. So here I am 3 years later, much worse -feeling close to death overwhelmed to go through this again

I’m sorry to hear of your suffering. How are you currently being treated? What have you been officially diagnosed with? What was your last GAD result?

Do you have diabetes? There is a a link of GAD and diabetes.

Have you researched other neurologists or neuroimmunologists that take SPS with abnormal GAD level patients? Are you seeing other specialists?
