Hello, I am looking for a treatment for a tumor in my spinal cord

Hello, I am writing to you from Istanbul, Turkey. My name is Samer, and I'm 27 years old. I was born in Damascus, Syria, on 01/01/1996. I have been impressed with your program and would like to inquire if you offer assistance. I have been living alone in Turkey for nearly eight years, but I have not experienced a single day of happiness due to the racist pressures and persecution I've faced.

Regrettably, I currently have a health condition that requires surgery on my spinal cord at the neck, due to a tumor. I have not been able to undergo the surgery and have received no medical care. I have no family nearby, and no one to look after me. Some doctors have informed me that if this operation is not performed, the tumor could lead to paralysis. The tumor was detected two months ago, and I have been unable to work or generate any income due to my health.

I am reaching out for your assistance. I urgently need surgery and proper medical care. I hope for a positive response from you, and I wish you all the best. Thank you for your attention....I feel severe pain in my arms, back, and neck..... Please help me

@samer9 I would like to add my welcome. @colleenyoung has provided you with excellent suggestions on how you can request a consult/appointment overseas from the U.S.

I would like to let you know that I feel disappointed and sad for you that you cannot get the treatment you need in Turkey. I don’t know if you home country of Syria is an option but I’m going to assume you’ve already investigated that option.

I am a patient at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I have often talked with other patients about where they are from outside the U.S. and how they came to get their care at Mayo. Once you are at Mayo in Rochester and staying in a nearby hotel it’s very common to talk with one another and support one another. That’s how I know this. I have been impressed in how they’ve arranged to get their speciality care in the U.S.

I do hope you get some answers quickly from the Mayo Clinic locations in the UK and Abu Dhabi.

Will you please come back and let me know if you were able to get an appointment in the US or overseas?

@naturegirl5 I do not know how I can tell you, Madam, that I cannot return to my country ever again due to the security conditions.. and I have not seen my family for eight years. They are still there in Syria, and it is very difficult for them to be in Turkey because no one is accepted again in Turkey by the refugees because they allow grants. Is there any right of asylum or humanitarian residency here for anyone from Syria? I am now out of work and sitting at home only because of the tumor in my spinal cord, causing me pain in the nerves, arms, neck, shoulders, and back, and I do not have the money to travel to the Mayo Clinic to receive treatment.. If only I had the ability to be there. The United States of America. I will receive full treatment and care, but unfortunately I did not get assistance in traveling to the United States of America... Maybe I feel that my life will end in this state and without seeing my family again....💔 I am sorry, but this is the truth. ..

Please make sure that you don’t develop SS from your operation. Please go to Dr. Google for an explanation. SS is far worse than a tumor. It causes brain damage. Please go to Mayo Clinic/Steve GRINSTEAD for an analysis of my operation to stop the bleeding in my spinal cord that caused my SS. Minor corrections, the operation was 8 hours not 4 and I didn’t go back to Minnesota for follow up. I hope and pray the best for you from Jehovah.

@samer9 It’s very sad that you can no longer return to your home country and see your family who you haven’t seen for 8 years. I know if I didn’t see my family for all that time I would miss them very much and would feel very lonely. I’m very sorry to know that and I do wish you could come to the U.S. to get full treatment. I know if I didn’t see my family for all that time I would miss them very much and would feel very lonely. I’m very sorry to know that and I do wish you could come to the U.S. to get full treatment. @naturegirl5 No, I do not have anyone with me. I have been living alone for eight years in Turkey and I am single and unmarried. I could not because of the bad living situation here and the terribly widespread racism. I cannot see my family and invite them to Turkey. This is not possible, but if I can find a way to arrive or help in traveling to the United States. I will be able to invite my family and see them after an absence of eight years and receive appropriate treatment and care as I dream of...in this 💔 I want a way to reach the United States of America. I hope to get help for treatment and to meet my famil....
