Hi @corsoarts and welcome to Mayo Connect. From my understanding CAR-T therapy is sometimes used in the treatment of diffuse large B-Cell lymphoma (DLBCL) after two other types of treatments have been tried without success.
You’ve mentioned having chemotherapy to treat your B-cell lymphoma. It can be quite strong and have some side effects but usually in time, the body recovers from the chemo. Could you explain a little more about your reference to CAR-T? Is your doctor recommending this treatment for you? Do you have any specific questions about the treatment?
I had EPOCK 24 hr drips for 6 mo. then the B-Cell came back & got Yescarta Car-T. I'm having difficult mental problems (after having a frontal lobe TBI). Is there a "Cancer Survivorship" post cancer virtual, inpatient, outpatient available?
Sorry. EPOCH
I think the best place to request Cancer Survivorship patient follow-up is with the health care provider who facilitated your CAR-T cell therapy transplant.
I did find information online from Yescarta CAR-T’s website. They have a comprehensive list of support and survivorship subjects on their site. Scroll down to the bottom. Here is a link: https://www.yescarta.com/
We have a pretty active CAR-T support group on Connect with several members sharing their experiences. Here’s the link to a good place for you to jump in:
