Heartburn from inhalers
Was recently diagnosed with COPD. I am currently on trelogy and I know the side effects include heartburn. Sometimes it is very extreme, and other times it's just a minor burn. I know this can't be healthy for my esophagus and I don't want to take even more medication to treat the heartburn. Does anyone have any natural remedies to keep the heartburn at bay or to protect my esophagus and sphincter?

Also, I'm assuming that you're COPD diagnosis is solid. The reason I say that is that I was diagnosed with COPD and did not like the inhalants, so I tried something natural. Inhaling aroma from thyme leaves really helped me. I'm doing terrific now, no breathing problems, no prescription inhalants. In my case, I believe that COPD was a misdiagnosis. We're all different but that's my story.

By the way, also in my case it turned out that I now get a reaction to ginger. That was causing my breathing problems as I was having ginger daily on my breakfast cereal. I kept very careful notes on my diet to track it down.
