hearing echos

My partner started hearing echoes and has trouble hearing. She also complained about pressure and pain. She said it developed after attending a youth sports game, and someone was cheering next to her. While more frequent than normal, that person wasn't particularly loud and did not scream at her. The game wasn't very loud also. What could be the cause of her hearing problem? Thanks
