Have we explored testosterone benefits?

We seem to speak more about estrogen and it's benefits for women's health. Why aren't we discussing testosterone? This may be a lively and interesting discussion. Your thought and experiences?

As a woman with PCOS, I tend to have too much testosterone, and it's a bit of a blessing and a curse. I find that I lose weight slowly but gain muscle easily. My voice is deeper than most other women I know, and I have to keep my facial hair and body hair in check. That being said, I've heard there are benefits to this as well, and am taking HRT under doctor supervision to find a middle ground.

Thanks for weighing in on this topic and telling your story.
I started bhrt at 76 and I am 77 now. My estradiol and testosterone are in pellet form. I've had great results and don't have any plans to stop.

Kelly Casperson has great videos on YouTube concerning all things HRT. She is a urologist and her videos are very informative. She is a huge supporter of women taking testosterone. Don't know if this link will work, but if not, anyone can just search her on YouTube and watch. Since I've only just started BHRT with estradiol patch and progesterone capsules, I'm not taking testosterone as of yet. Maybe at some point in the future?? All of the things I have to do should be followed by multiple question marks at this point...😂😂
