Has diagnosis and treatment of Paranasal area cysts been difficult?
I have been to over a dozen drs in the last two years about cysts in Paranasal area and have not received any diagnosis or treatment hardly. Yes, I have taken multiple antibiotics and been prescribed multiple ointments but nothing has helped. When I suggest cutting the cysts out I am looked at like I am crazy although internet searches show as common practice. They spread like crazy and have always leaked from vestibule area onto face but until this last week I had not noticed any cysts in the area. Now there are several and leads me to think it may be the nasalabial cyst but that is just me- not from dr. The cysts have been so big they have split the area in between nostrils in to. I have just been passed from dermatologist to ent over snd over again. I begged one dr for mri because I don’t know how far up they go and she refused- no idea why. It is starting to get very depressing because I had no idea something like this could go on an on with no help. In fact, I see the Mayo Clinic treats these cysts so why do the drs in my state seem to have no interest in curing my issue. I have had two biopsies. One came back too shallow and the other was done below my nose in the sore where nose split instead of where cysts were so I believe at some point soon it needs to be redone to rule out cancer.
