Has anyone tried botox for post treatment incontinence?
Doctor suggested botox for persistent incontinence following surgery, radiation, and hormone therapy. Has anyone tried this?

1 Reaction@kenhorse, ha ha. Fact is Botox injections are not just for wrinkles on your face. They're also used to treat neck spasms, sweating, overactive bladder, lazy eye and other conditions. Botox shots also may help prevent migraine. Who knew, right?
@hudsonlady, this article from Mayo Clinic explains the use of Botox for to treat urge incontinence or overactive bladder in people who have not had success with other treatment options.

Like you mentioned in another discussion, reviews are mixed. It's an individual choice. Did your doctor discuss the risks with using Botox? It might not work, but are there also risks?

They tried it on me, it did not help at all and had to convince my insurance that it wasn’t cosmetic.
@garys1953 Are you kidding me ? I know some people try anything - but this is off the chart .
Medically , in most instances . There is no magic bullet . Stick to researched , proven science .

I was given choice of Botox or axonics and chose to try axonics but still waiting on doctor to schedule trial test.
