Has anyone tried acupuncture for long covid?
Covid long hauler for almost 2 years. Mine is mostly neurologic concentrated in my head. Also very bad anxiety, sleep disturbance, no appetite and anhedonia. Tried everything. Now I’m trying acupuncture along with Chinese herbs. Anyone tried this and did it help at all?

I do acupuncture for Long COVID. I have developed hyperacusis, auditory migraine like episodes, and have sleep issues due to overheating. The treatments definitely help with "calming" my brain, but are not curative.

Yes, I have tried it. I went 2x per week for 6 weeks to see if I could feel any improvement. I would feel better right after my treatment for a few hours, but then back to pain and fatigue. So I stopped going. But different people may have had better experiences!
I’ve only been going 2-3 times a week for about 3 weeks, but it makes me feel horrible for at least a day and a half after and then it’s time to do it all over again. I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I feel yucky most of the time and then the acupuncture makes me feel worse. Ugh.
