If they offer PRRT (Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy)with Lutetium-177 I would say take it. I did last year and felt better than at any time since diagnosis.
If they offer an Alpha PRRT clinical trial I would sign up today. Alpha particle is supposed to smash the cancer cell DNA better than beta, and with less damage to surrounding tissue.

There are a few different types of radiation treatments. PRRT, raioembolization, cyberknife, etc. What is the specific treatment your doctor is recommending?

Do you know how one finds out if alpha or beta?

Most likely it uses beta particles like Lutetium-177 (Lu-177) and Yttrium-90 (Y-90). I had the first last year and it was called Lutathera. Alpha therapy is still experimental and uses Actinium-225 or Lead-212.
