Has anyone had success using a TENS on their feet?

Hi @suzylulu, I only have numbness with my neuropathy but one of the first things I tried was a Zopec DT-1200 tens unit for neuropathy and didn't have any success with it. There is another discussion that you might want to join started by @judypall

I use the tens machine, have massages and use cbd myrrh and frankincense oil. There has been no improvement and no relief

I got a $25 one off Amazon, Healthmate Forever. Seems to help when my feet and lower legs feel bad, like a different type of buzzing and tingling. But shortly after use I am back to where I was. I used it daily at first then sporadically. Research claims it can help 😏 but only $25 and plenty of good reviews, easy to use after first time, and from what I’ve read any purchased for home use are not dangerous.

Hi, @wilcy – I'm guessing you mean you tried a tens unit on your feet for your neuropathy and it didn't relieve the symptoms at all? Was this something you tried once, or multiple times? Did you notice anything at all after using it?

What is TENS?Please explain.

TENS is a technique that uses pads placed on your body and then high frequency, small pulses of current are passed from one pad to another. These pads are connected to a control device which can change various parameters such as intensity, frequency, etc.. The thought is that this will stimulate and relax the muscles/nerves in that area, and reduce the pain signals to the brain. One can purchase these units for as little as $40. .

I have tried a similar device to see if it would help for the numbness I have in my feet but after trying it for a few months it did nothing for me. The one I tried was the Zopec DT-1200 – https://www.advantagemedical.com/products/dt-1200-unit-for-feet-neuropathy-and-pains/. The EMS Foot Massager seems to be a less expensive version of the one I tried – https://www.amazon.com/EMS-Foot-Massager-Electric-Stimulator/dp/B07Y69BGG4

Has someone recommended the EMS foot machine to you?

It did not work for me, I use a cold laser therapy device(10 minutes on each foot on high power). which I bought from Amazon. Hemp cream is also good.

@wosfloj Yes you are correct I have used at TENS at home for 10 years . I have had no problems with the machine or when putting it on my body ,since you control how much of the intensity you want . Love mine . My chiropractor use one on me before he adjust and relaxes my muscles
