Has anyone found a location in S. Florida that does DXA with TBS?

Hi,
I need a DXA with TBS score and every center I've called in S.FL (given to me on lists by Medimaps) does not use it. Has anyone had any luck finding someone who does anywhere in South Florida?

There's website where you can get a list of all of the locations in your state sent to your email. It's what I used.
For some reason, that service is currently down, but I'll give your the link anyhow. Maybe check it in a day or two to see if it's working again.

Alternatively, you can call around to various clinics. If you do that, try to speak directly with the radiology department. The other departments and staff may not even know what TBS is.

I also live in South Florida and I called many places on the same list. The only one I found that does it is in Pembroke Pines " Pembroke Pink Imaging". It is not covered with my Insurance but the cost is not expensive. I am planning on going there after my next Endocrinologist appointment when I get my DEXA prescription.

Vero Beach Radiology has TBS. Your doctor must specifically prescribe it on the order to give the radiology department time before your appointment to load the software. Most administrative staff you speak with by phone are not aware of TBS. Be sure to verify the TBS before you go to your appointment that your DEXA scan has TBS uploaded for you.

In Florida, I would be very careful. I lived there for 26 years and am thankful every day that I escaped with my life and with body parts intact. There are too many seniors and not enough decent doctors.
