Has anyone experienced a pontine infarct? What symptoms do you have?

I noticed issues with my balance a few months ago. After visits with my ENT to rule out ear and sinus issues as the cause, she sent me for PT. Now two months later after testing, I am much stronger but still have balance issues. It seems my left side is weaker. I can stand on my right foot for 90 seconds but only last 9 seconds on my left foot.
My neurologist ordered an MRI and CT scans. They found a tiny lacunar pontine infarct.
I am wondering if the balance issue will ever go away? I also have some trouble swallowing and am more clumsy, dropping things…all of which began around the same time.
