Has anyone done a prolonged water fast before doing western medicine?

So I had a brain tumor removed 3 yrs ago. It’s back and they are wanting to do radiation this time, the cyber knife. I think I’m going to put off for 3 months and trying to do. 3 week water fast to see if my own body does anything to fix it. Anyone else had any luck or heard of this kind of treatment for menignomas?
