Has anyone changed from Anastrozole to Exemestane?

Hydrating shampoo for dryness of your hair. I use Paul Mitchell for this slight scent works great.
Moisturizing your skin with lavender (Codi) , or Mary Kay moisturizing cream any really good moisturizer will do. Ask for help with this.
Soap I use Kirkland;s soap, no not Costco. This company has been around since the 1860's. Very good! It's a Wal mart. Ask someone they will find it for you
Eye drops for eyes relief works great once in the morning and once at night. Use twice a day, link with Brushing your teeth, this methodology works for me.
I don't itch with Exemestane but already had dry skin.
Try it !

@lucylocket I didn’t have that problem with exemestane but only been on the letrazole about 5 weeks and this one is causing it for me. I itch like crazy and have started to have muscle cramps again (haven’t had that problem since I finished the chemo).

Yes, here. Not bad. Very minimal joint discomfort, much less than before switching from anastrozole to examestane

@lucylocket Thank you for sharing that itching is a concern. Yes, I have unbearable itching at times from Exemestane. My skin is extremely dry. My hair as well.

I cannot wear any type of polyester-type clothing and can only wear cotton. There are so many things that I have to be watchful for. Only 6.5 years more to go on Exemestane. I'm hoping to hang on.

Has anyone who takes Exemestane have issues with itching ? I also have more joint pain since taking .

I have switched from A to E a year ago due to trigger finger and joint pain. For me the side effects were about the same. The trigger finger went from right hand to left and the join pains are maybe slightly better. At my appointment with my oncologist last week, she said that these drugs have been in used for the last twenty years. She said that a new drug is about to be approved toward the end of his year. Some of her patients have used it for a while and she believes this drug is superior to the Aromatase Inhibitors that we have been using. They act differently in that instead of blocking the production of estrogen, they attack the estrogen receptor itself. She said that one in particular will be approved by FDA before the end of this year and beginning of next year we can look to switch to this type of drug instead. Sorry that I do not remember the specific name but I believe that there is more than one of this type of drugs. You can probably google for new hormone therapy drugs for breast cancer. I have 2 more years to go...

Correction: Healthy Sorority Sis of a different kind. NOT Dex; I changed over to exemestane.
This is a good example of my brain. I want it back!
