Has anyone benefitted from CET neuropathy treatment?
Treatment for neuropathy has been difficult to find. I started a few months ago CET treatments which seem to be helping. They're also covered by insurance and Medicare. I'm curious if anyone knows more about CET.

Yes, some people with Peripheral Neuropathy have reported meaningful improvement from CET, which usually refers to Combined Electrochemical Therapy or Combination Electro-Analgesia Therapy, a treatment that uses forms of electrical stimulation and nerve-focused therapy to try to reduce pain, improve circulation and support nerve function, although the medical evidence is still somewhat limited and mixed because most studies have been relatively small and many neurologists still consider it more of an emerging or alternative treatment rather than a universally accepted standard therapy, but despite that, a number of patients do describe reduced burning, tingling, numbness and balance problems after several months of treatment, especially when traditional medications like Gabapentin or other neuropathy treatments either did not help enough or caused difficult side effects, so the fact that you are personally noticing improvement and that your treatment is covered by insurance and Medicare is actually very encouraging since neuropathy can be extremely difficult to treat effectively.

1 ReactionDennis, I just returned from my 100th treatment at New Promise Neuropathy in Frisco. Am I healed - No! Am I better - Yes! Mine was caused by the antibiotic Linezolid and is said to be irreversible. I am walking better, have better balance, started doing some simple yoga which requires the feet to be spread apart, and can jog in place. All things I would have never attempted before treatment. At my initial evaluation the Doc used the term dead nerves, rather than damaged nerves. It is a very long slow process and since insurance is covering it I am in for the long haul!! My option is to sit at home and wait for the wheelchair. Prayers for all out there with this horrible disease that so many know so little about.

1 Reaction@mpowers501 100 treatments? Is this covered by insurance? If not, you must be paying a pretty penny for this. Would I do it if I had to pay out-of-pocket? Maybe. If it would help, I likely would do it. Unfortunately, I have paid for a number of procedures that have had a success rate, but did not help me.
