Has Anyone Been Totally, Truly Cured?
We spend so much of our time, and dollars trying to find relief from this awful condition.
Do you know of anyone who has been totally cured of neuropathy?
Cured, not feeling better.
Probably not. I don’t believe it’s curable so anything you can find for relief for a awhile is wonderful!

Check out this group. Members report total cure IF neuropathy was caused by excessive consumption of b6. There is a very specific protocol to follow that is claimed to remove excessive b6 from muscles where it causes the most trouble, including PN. It is definitely worth a look if you have ever consumed food or vitamins that contain b6 supplements.
@njed hi Ed, have you tried stopping the R-ALA to see what happens?
@SusanEllen66 - I did give serious thought about stopping R-ALA. But then, does it help? The cost of this supplement is not excessive. In 2020, Mayo said it might help and 2 other teaching hospitals I went to one in 2017 and one in 2019 both suggested the same. It is sort of try it, see if it helps. So no, I have not tried stopping. I have no side effects on 600 mg. daily.

A cure will never happen in this country, I’m better 100% on that call
@njed. This is what I was wondering, if and when I can not tell if something is working or not, I stop using it. Then, I wait and see if things get worse. If so, whatever I was using was in fact helping.
@mustii Hello, well it really is a cure that we are hoping for, no matter where it comes from.
which country?
What is R-ALA? I know that ALA is Alpha Lipoic Acid. What is the "R?"
@altucci I just “googled” it. I’m not sure, but it has the ability to neutralize harmful free radicals…
