Has anybody else have bladder wall thickening but no symptoms ?

I urinated blood one time and had discomfort when urinating, went to the doctor thinking it was UTI. Doctor assumed it was a UTI and was given antibiotics, 1 day later test results came back negative for UTI. I completed a ct scan afterwards, ct scan results came back and on the report it said I have no kidney stones, I have bladder wall thickening (mild). I don’t have the urge to urinate frequently, it’s not painful to urinate, nor have I urinated blood ever since that one time. I am having a little discomfort on my left side of my abdomen but other than that I feel normal. I’m 25 years old and I’m afraid it can be bladder cancer. I have a cystoscopy in 1 week, should I be really worried ?

@steph12 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Cystoscopy is not fun but hopefully it will shed more light on what you experienced and all will be well. I suggest that you write down any and all symptoms for the consideration of your provider, plus questions and concerns as you think of them. Are you being cared for by a urologist?
