Hallo thanks for your support I ask about if I get infacktion HBS b

I have been suffering from fatty liver for about 6 years. Does this mean that the hepatitis B virus can leave harmful effects on the liver and cause cirrhosis?
How can I be sure that the hepatitis B virus did not cause me cirrhosis, knowing that I did not know about it and recovered from it without knowing about it?

Welcome @nohaashak23, This is something that you need to discuss with your doctor or care team. The Hepatis B Foundation does have some information on the topic that might help in a discussion with your doctor.

Are you able to discuss your questions with your doctor?

you could ask for serum testing. Indolent Hepatitis B can be tested with by HBsAg the surface antigen and anti HBc along with anti-HBs and HBV DNA.

A fatty liver can be caused by extra weight and also if you have a lot of inflammation in your body. Your alkaline phosphatase will be high often if you have a fatty liver.

Everyone that has a fatty liver doesn't always get cirrhosis nor are they always someone that drinks alcohol.

Praying for you and hope this helps.
