Hair salon/cuts for brain tumor pts? Rochester or Twin cities

I had surgery 5 weeks ago and would like someone to cut my hair who is sensitive to the large scar and can cut my post surgery hair which is short. Ideas? I live in twin cities and in Rochester often

Hello @shelruth and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I had an aunt go through brain tumor surgery multiple times and had the same concern as you. Honestly, if you have a trusted stylist you've seen regularly or even just ever, I would say to call them and ask them if they would be comfortable and also willing to be extra careful? I think it is less of a skillset and likely more about the compassion you are in need of.

Do you have someone you've seen before you feel like you could call?
