Does anyone take gummies or edibles to manage going through radiation?

Lupron shot was 3 weeks ago (Hello, hot flashes). Simulation is 3 weeks from now, with radiation starting a week later. My sister-in-law suggested I get gummies or edibles to handle the discomfort that could come with 8 weeks of radiation. Has anyone done that? Did it help?
