Granuloma annular
I was diagnosed 3 months ago with granuloma annular. So far the creams and salves have not helped. I have completed 6 weeks of photo therapy and this has not helped. My PA says the next step is corticosteroid shots. Has anyone experienced this and what if any are the side effects?

I'll get back to you later on 2 creams that seem to have helped. Red light therapy at Planet Fitness - after 6 month seeing results.
The shots did help on spots that were raised but I was concerned about possible side effects so asked my doctor to do this only on the worst areas.
I have been using tacrolimus ointment and betamethasone dipropionate alternating them every other week. The dermatologist has suggested taking either Otezla or Dapsone. Have not started either one yet, as I have some gastro issues that he wants cleared up first.
How long did each red light therapy last??
the tracrolimus ointment seems to have helped me. I alternate it with opzelura (ruxoliyinib) cream 1.5% (very pricey) - my doctor did an appeal
