If you can survive two bouts of cancer you can survive anything. You are a very strong person!!! You’re going to do just fine wherever life leads you.

2 ReactionsThank you so much for your kind words, I try very hard to be strong and fight back where I can but it’s a roller coaster ride at the best of times. No one said it was going to be easy but I’m grateful that I still have my life and the love ones in it, amen.

1 ReactionBenzodiazepines are highly addictive!!! Please have someone take you to an impatient detox center. Do not try getting off this by yourself! It would be life threatening with a risk of seizures!!!! PLEASE, for your life, get help then report these physicians for giving you benzos for 40 yrs. Their licenses should be revoked...permanently!!!!!!!!

2 Reactions@Flowergirl93, I can’t imagine the journey you’ve had with Xanax so far—it sounds incredibly exhausting, especially at this point in your life. You have so many wonderful things, like your kids and grandkids, that you would much rather be focusing your time and energy on. I also understand that you have several physical health diagnoses to manage.
Can you help me understand? Are you looking to get off Xanax completely or are you looking for a local physician who can prescribe it for you?

1 ReactionOhhhhhEEEEE 14 hour tour 1 way! Wow! Thats possibly your driving force pun intended, in wanting to quit! Hope you’re able to get where you want to be medication wise! PHD is not me from others with long term experience reducing can range from 3-12 months… that car ride sounds brutal & would make me want to breakup with Xanax! Ughh. Good Luck.
You are so very lucky , may I ask what mg and how many times a day ? Thank you.
No it's called if I don't make that drive , slowly go into withdrawals within 3 days , sweating, extreme anxiety and then seizures which some could be fatal ,with drawing from xanex I hear is worse than any drug on the street, I didn't ask for this , just listening to what I was told to do , so no the drive is not worth stopping, my life is important to me plus I get to visit my grandchildren when I go 6 boys 1 girl when I get there , so no pun intended is unacceptable in my eyes , this is my life and I didn't ask for any of it nor was I aware of what was going on , to bust with life until I got older now about to turn 56 !!!!! It's all about living ....
