I think that it’s best to cover your head if the sun is shining because you will get burned, your scalp is usually covered with hair which can help but even with hair you can still get burned. If you still have some random hairs on your scalp, I would suggest removing them to even everything out but it’s not necessary if you’re going to cover your head with a wig or something else, best wishes.

All I did was shave. I second hats (it was too hot for wigs for me in SoCal).

I wish I would have scouted out a tear-free sunblock for my face; I lost my eyebrows so when I would sweat I just got sunblock in my eye.
