Gina Woods-useful talking points & overview of all therapies avail
This is a long, unpolished, but very useful video talk from Dr. Gina Woods at UC San Diego that came out yesterday (4 Feb 2026). https://www.youtube.com/watch. I just listened to it like a podcast.
I found a lot of useful talking points to use with my endo (who is hurried but very open-minded). I'm particularly interested in the ptH analog (Tymlos/Forteo/Teriparatide ) > Evenity > Reclast sequence she mentions. I also appreciate her acknowledgement that there are "minimalist" and "maximalist" osteoporosis patients (she elaborates on how she approaches treatment with each).
She covers HRT, exercise, nutrition, shortened protocols for "minimalists," drug-free approaches for "naturalists," etc.

Thank you for this. I have it saved to watch later. I scrolled the transcript and am also interested in the use of bone builders and anti-resorptives concurrently.
I also have to look up the Liftmore program.
I just got off the phone with a Tymlos clinical educator, and while she was very courteous and professional in answering my questions before I start the medication, she didn’t offer anything in the way of how to mitigate side effects, which is what I was looking for (since neither of my rheumatologists have either).
These conversations exhaust me.
Thanks for this, I really appreciate it! ✨
