I don't have much trouble, it's all the people my age who look & talk "older". The conversation generally leads to pills, surgeries, their doctors and what hurts.
bahaha
But, we still have fun!
I just reply, "Do you think it's gonna snow?"
That steers the conversation to more pleasant topix. :0

Love it! A sense of humor can make a huge differance in changing the narrative. Kudos to you. All the medical profession does is throw meds at us! I feel like is this the only solution? Boomers are not always deaf. So stop raising your voice because you think I cannot hear and don't treat me like I am over 90! Condescending and rude. I never spoke to my granparents or others like that! Hugs!
I laughed so hard! Thanks for putting a smile on my face.
Love GC.
Excellent snip of the man in action!

A straightforward dose of reality!
In our “advanced age”, we do have to find ways to out a smile on our faces every day!

For those of us who enjoy old movies, there's another George who had it right, too. That was George Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life."
Great laugh!
