Gastroparesis and ICV

I’m reaching out as a new member of the group. About 8 years ago I had to have my ileocecal valve and part of the terminal ileum removed due to severe endometriosis. Additionally, I do not have my appendix or gallbladder. I have struggled since then with severe diarrhea that seems to have no specific origin. I do take cholestyrimine to adjust for not having my gallbladder.
About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis. So, now I struggle with proper digestion that leads to abdominal discomfort, bloating, cramping, gas, indigestion and constipation.
However, my chronic diarrhea continues! I’ve been reading about people with chronic SIBO. I’m wondering if this is the root cause of the chronic diarrhea? I’ve just begun a treatment with Flagyl which was prescribed by my GI as a trial run.
I have a few questions:
1. Could chronic SIBO be the root cause of the diarrhea?
2. Is there a connection between the Gastroparesis and SIBO?
3. What types of options for medical treatment are available for someone like me?
