Post-operative Gastroparesis

I have Gastroparesis .. the post operative type.. where some of the nerves that surround the stomach were damaged and my stomach is slow to empty.

Hello, I hope this message reaches someone. My mom had G-POEM surgery and is now on a j-tube. She has had nothing but complications with the j-tube. She was told there is an experimental trial but cannot find that any of the recommended hospitals in MI are able to provide her with the billing code for her insurance because it's experimental. She has insurance but is at a loss because she can't find anyone who's been in the trial or a place that can provide her the billing code(s). Because of this, she's getting nowhere on something she desperately needs. Is there a way to find out this information?

Hello, I hope this message reaches someone. My mom had G-POEM surgery and is now on a j-tube. She has had nothing but complications with the j-tube. Correction, she is TRYING to get into a clinical trial for G-POEM. She has not been able to find out billing codes to see if her insurance covers it. The j-tube is a result of esophageal cancer.

I'm really sorry to hear she has had nothing but complications from the j-tube.

What complications has she experienced with the j-tube, cloviskmr18?
