Gamma knife radiosurgery

I had it for a tumor in my head to stop the growth. Had it done at St. Luke’s in Milwaukee. Minimal short term side effects. Did damage hearing and balance in treated side.

I just had radiation therapy for five days and the most uncomfortable part was the mask they put on your face but it’s not that bad. I do have hair lost in that area now just hoping I don’t have a bald spot there but I do feel a slight burning inside my head at times and numb feeling on my right side at times my tumor was on my left side. But I still do things I usually do with little problems. Hugs for you.
