Gallbladder(?) Concerns

Posted by abopp2022 @abopp2022, Apr 27, 2019

So I’ve been having chest pain and pain in my ride side. My chest feels heavy like something is sitting on it all the time. It’s hard to breathe. When I cough and sneeze my side just under my rib cage hurts like crap. I feel really yucky and sometimes my left arm hurts. I have multiple panic and anxiety attacks. I’ve been to my pcp (April 26) and she said that it’s probably acid reflux and if not she’ll check for gallbladder issues. I ended up going to the Er that night because my chest and side hurt so bad at work and i felt like I was going to pass out. This morning (April 27) I woke up sick and can’t seem to keep food down. I’ve only had a few crackers and some chicken pasta. I do have family history of gallbladder problems. I’m only 18 years old.

Wow, that is really scary. I had my gallbladder removed in 2005 and within two days I was pretty much back to normal oh, so I can't imagine what you're going through. I do wonder if the removal of the gallbladder is called some of my stomach and colon issues. It is my understanding that gallbladder removal is getting rare that doctors do not want to remove it. Good luck and I hope you get back to normal soon.

Thanks for the wishes, they do mean a lot to me since depression became obvious now together with my anxiety. Yes, you are right that this gallbladder surgery with just a few incisions has become popular about 10-15 yrs. ago, and many doctors became lazy or cocky, according to one nurse, that they can make no mistake. Unfortunately their laziness became so frequent that more, and more of doctors make serious mistakes believing so much in their skill and simplicity of the procedure. That's what happened to me having a surgeon with thousands of similar procedures on his resume. He cut me up everywhere it was possible, liver, bile duct in multiple spots, etc. that instead of 30 minutes it took the team of doctors full 4 hrs. to fix his mess ! It suppose to take 2+ months to completely recover but my surgeon just extended it by additional 2 months ! That's the reason that I'm panicking a bit. Did anybody else had a similar situation/case ? I'd be very interested to know about it. Thank you.
