GABAPENTIN AND TYLENOL

Pain in legs at night keeping me up all hours. GABAPENTIN does not work, can I take TYLENOL WITH IT??? NOBODY CAN TELL ME ANYTHING...

My doctor has prescribed for me to take both together multiple times per day.

@margaretob, I think I would ask my pharmacist or doctor just to be sure but here is what I've read.

Tylenol PM is another story --- "Using diphenhydrAMINE together with gabapentin may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. I hope so because I take 300 every night and two Tylenol. I was told I could take more Gabapentin at night instead of during the day. I can’t take it in the day because it causes me to be sleepy. How much do you take?

I also forgot to mention I take a muscle relaxer as well.

One in the afternoon when my legs start to hurt and one at night with MOTRIN 2.....I get pain now ALL DAY and wonder how much more I can take to function. RAIN storm hurts change in the weather HURTS....sunny days not as bad for some reason...HOW ARE YOU??????

I might need a muscle relaxer, my hands and feet get pain now also..WHAT IS THIS I will be 78 next month and this year since JANUARY I have suffered ...
IS THIS ESCALATING?????

I would be more concerned about mixing gabapentin and a muscle relaxer (which one?) so ask the pharmacist or doctor about that! Sorry about your pain. Have you seen a pain management doc?
