Frequent bleeding from the rectum when having a bowel movement.
I am retired living in a retirement facility. I have been told by the attendants that I have hemorides. Two years ago I had prostate cancer.
I went through radiation and now I undergo various medical treatments for after effects.
I have been continued bleeding during bowel movements.
After reading some of your descriptions, I wonder if I might have a continued Cancer problem.

If what you're experiencing is bright red blood on the tissue when you clean up after a bowel movement, hemorrhoids would be the most likely culprit. If your stool is hard or you're straining to have a bowel movement, there could also be some tearing of anal tissue causing bleeding.
It's certainly reasonable to have it checked out by a pro, but in the meantime, don't lose sleep over it. As they say, "when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras."
